Wake up my Heart!

Scripture of the Day: John 1:12-14 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. Of late, one of my favorite songs is Chris Tomlin's, "Good, Good Father." The chorus (with way more repetition) goes, "You're a good, good, Father - it's who you are. And I'm loved by you - it's who I am." Yesterday I was hit with a metaphorical bus. A big bus. A shake you to your core bus. And when I start to think about the implications and the future I kind of go crazy. It is then that God calls me back to those two fundamental things. 1) He is a good Father and 2) I am loved by him. The rest matters...but not as much as those two things. What in my life is more important than my husband? What is more important than my son?
