Instead of having multiple verses for you today...I chose none and would instead just encourage you to flip through your New Testament and see who wrote the various books...and who they were written for. Our church sermon a couple of Sunday's ago has stuck around in my head and heart. The topic was discipleship of sorts and the point was brought about that in your life you should always have three people: a Paul, a Silas, and a Timothy. These people will rotate over time. Let's clarify in case that doesn't make any sense. Considering how many books in the New Testament are attributed to Paul, we can consider him a teacher and a mentor to many. If you read the beginning verses of his books, you will see that some are written with Silas (peer) and some with Timothy (student and viewed by Paul as a son in Christ).
